What inspired you to become a makeup artist?
I've always been passionate about art and self-expression, and makeup was just another form of that for me. I love how it can transform the way you look and feel, and it gives you the freedom to experiment with different colors, textures, and styles.
What's your favorite makeup look to create?
I don't have a specific favorite, as I love to experiment with different looks and styles depending on my mood and the occasion. That being said, I do have a soft spot for dramatic eye looks with bold colors and lots of glitter!
What advice would you give to someone just starting out with makeup?
My advice would be to experiment as much as possible, and not be afraid to make mistakes. Makeup is all about having fun and expressing yourself, so don't worry too much about getting everything perfect right away. Just keep practicing, watching tutorials, and trying new things, and you'll get better with time!
What's your favorite makeup product of all time?
That's a tough one! I have so many favorites, but if I had to choose just one it would probably be a good quality mascara. It's the one product that can instantly make you look more awake and put-together, and can even be used to create a more natural, 'no makeup' look.
What's a common makeup mistake you see people making?
One of the most common mistakes I see is people not properly blending their eyeshadow. Blending is key to creating a seamless, professional-looking eye look that doesn't have any harsh lines or patches of color. Make sure to use a fluffy blending brush and blend in circular motions, using light pressure.
What sets your channel apart from others in the beauty space?
I think what sets my channel apart is my focus on inclusivity and diversity. I try to create content that is accessible to everyone, regardless of their skin tone, gender identity, or skill level. I also strive to promote a message of self-love and body positivity, and to create a community that is supportive and uplifting.
What do you do when you're not creating content?
When I'm not filming or editing videos, I love spending time with my family and friends, traveling, and trying new restaurants. I also enjoy reading, practicing yoga, and going for long walks with my dog.
