Prince Harry's wedding to Meghan Markle on Saturday at St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle is sure to be one of the most romantic royal weddings ever. Considering the bridegroom has broken all kinds of traditions and cast aside centuries of protocol to win—and wed—the woman he loves, he surely deserves to be crowned Most Romantic Royal. 1 He's totally lovestruck by Meghan
We can't help but think, every time we see Harry and Meghan together, that his guy is really in love. Harry looks at Meghan like she is the only woman in the world and has said that he knew she was "the one" on their very first date. Only a true romantic would say "All the stars were aligned" in describing how he came to fall in love. 2 He designed a heartfelt wedding ring.
Harry designed Meghan's beautiful diamond and yellow gold engagement ring with the large stone from Botswana (where they went on their first trip together just two weeks after they met) and two smaller stones from Princess Diana's collection. 3 He's super-protective.
Harry took the unprecedented step of issuing a blistering statement calling out the press for its "racial overtones" in its initial coverage of Meghan. This week, he had his office issue another statement asking the press to back off Meghan's father, Thomas Markle, after the story broke that the bride-to-be's father staged fake photos with a paparazzi photographer. Given his feelings towards the paparazzi, it had to hurt knowing Meghan's father did this, but he chose to put those feelings aside in consideration of Meghan.
4 He's chivalrous.
Royal protocol dictates spouses (or girlfriends) of a senior royal stand back and let the prince take the lead on walkabouts. Harry has shown himself to be incredibly chivalrous and let Meghan go ahead of him on many meet-and-greets. 5 He's a charmer.
His smile, his laugh, his ability to make everyone he meets feel instantly at ease sets plenty of hearts aflutter—all signs of a total charmer.
6 He loves a good roast chicken dinner.
Like the old saying goes, a way to a man's heart is through is stomach, and Harry has a soft spot for roast chicken. He reportedly used to spend time at Prince William and Kate Middleton's Kensington Palace apartment any time Kate was cooking up his favorite meal—and he even proposed to Meghan in the kitchen of their Nottingham Cottage home while they were "trying to roast a chicken."
7 He's a homebody.
His clubbing days are over and now he is very much content to curl up at home with Meghan or visit with his neighbors William and Kate. How sweet.
8 He's great with kids .
Anytime there are children present on an official royal visit, you can count on Harry being in the middle of things crouching down at eye level talking to them. Who can forget that adorable video of Harry being unaware a toddler was eating the popcorn the prince was holding while talking to someone seated on the other side of him? The only person more delighted than the little girl was Harry. He's going to be a great dad.
9 He wasn't afraid to ask the Queen to break tradition for Meghan .
It didn't matter there was a longstanding tradition barring non-spouses from celebrating with their significant royal others at Sandringham for Christmas. Harry asked Granny to make an exception for Meghan, and she did. Even Lady Diana Spencer and Kate Middleton were not welcomed that way (because their fiancés never asked).

10 He shows just the right amount of PDA .
Up until now, royals have not held hands in public and never kissed (except on the polo field accepting an award from a spouse). Harry is a hand holder and almost always has a protective arm around Meghan whenever they're out in public.

11 He thinks Meghan's mother is "amazing."
He invited Doria Ragland to join him and Meghan in his private box at the Invictus Games in October 2017 when the couple made their first official appearance together. During the interview with the BBC the day they announced their engagement, he enthusiastically called his soon to be mother-in-law "amazing." What woman wouldn't love him for that?

12 He served his country.
Harry spent a decade in the military and served two tours in Afghanistan, including time on the front lines. When a website revealed his location and he had to leave the unit, he trained as an Apache helicopter pilot and went back into battle, ultimately becoming one of the best pilots in the unit. (And let's not forget how great he looks in uniform.)
13 He's a good listener.
Now that Harry has opened up about his struggles coming to terms with Princess Diana's death, he has learned to channel that empathy to help others. Anytime there's someone at an appearance that is sharing details of their own problems, Harry is focused in listening and offering words of support.
14 He still misses his mother.
Last year the public learned just how much William and Harry miss their mother in a series of television appearances and documentaries where the princes shared their thoughts on what life has been like without Diana. Harry made the heartbreaking revelation that he cut short his last ever phone call with this mother in August 1997 because he wanted to go out and play with his cousins. "If I had known that was going to be my last conversation with her, I would have done things differently," he told an interviewer. Even though he was just 12 years-old at the time, the memory of it haunts him to this day. "That's something I'm going to have to live with for the rest of my life." 15 He's Harry!
